In 2016, Dan and Connie LaFave purchased the nearly 140 year Olde Park Hotel in Ballinger, Texas. This old building was many things during its time including being an Old West brothel twice as well as being an antiques store. They were told before they bought the hotel that it was haunted by as many as 30 ghostly spirits. Over time, they and others including several psychic mediums and paranormal investigators who visit this very haunted old building do believe this to be a very strong possibility. There is also an extreme mystery taking place in the hotel involving a certain area. Did something threatening and tragic occur here back in history to a young brothel woman? And, is both she and her unknown killer still walking the hallways of this old historic building? Also, did Bonnie Parker (Bonnie & Clyde) stay here like the strong rumors suggest and is her spirit still here? She was born just a few miles away in Rowena, Texas.
Author Biography
Dan LaFave lives in West Texas and both he and his wife Connie bought the historic nearly 140 year old Olde Park Hotel located in Ballinger, Texas. Their old hotel is highly regarded by many to be extremely haunted. Dan has written two other books "Shadow of the Ghost Hunter" and "The Supernatural, Texas, and the Old West" about his journeys and paranormal explorations over a 20 year period. He has explored many locations over time, but his joy is being able to spend time now with his wife Connie doing what they can to fully restore and share the history and ghosts of the Olde Park Hotel with everyone they can.
