Sir Richard Clavarhouse Jebb, Regius Professor of Greek and Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, UK, was one of the foremost classicists of the Victorian era. His editions of Sophocles' had a profound influence on subsequent scholarship.
P.E. Easterling is Fellow of Newnham College, and Regius Professor of Greek in the University of Cambridge, UK. She is general editor of the Cambridge Greek and Latin Classics series.
Ruby Blondell is Professor of Classics in the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, and translator of Sophocles' Oedipus at Colonus, Antigone and King Oedipus.
