It focuses on six primary feelings, leads to discussions about feelings and helps to identify appropriate alternatives to unhealthy expressions, and provides insight to the child, by showing a connection between our feelings and our actions. This is accomplished by using age appropriate language and images. Using descriptions of the weather, the child can begin to label, understand, and express his/her feelings.
