Product Description

by Jessica Haselhorst (Illustrator), Susan Joy Diamond-Tsingos (Author)

Sometimes Divorce is Better is a beautifully illustrated, well-written book that parents can read to their kids to help them understand that, even though Mom and Dad are no longer happy together, it is not the fault of their kids and it is possible to achieve happiness through shared custody. When the tension and fighting no longer dominates in a home, kids can be more relaxed. Most books about divorce are geared towards the adults. Sometimes Divorce is Better is relatable to kids and serves as reassurance that, when Mom and Dad are happier as individuals, their kids will be happier too. And with shared custody, kids have the opportunity to experience each parent as a full and capable parent. When you model that you deserve to be in a satisfying and supportive relationship, you model something wonderful to your kids.
