This is the English translation of the Memorial(Yizkor) book of the destroyed Jewish Community of Smorgon now in Belarus.

This book contains first-hand descriptions of the rich life of the Jewish community of Smorgon before the Shoah and eye- witness accounts of its destruction. It was written by emigrees and survivors of the town most of whom were living in Israel.

May this book serve as a memory to those who perished and the community that was destroyed.
