Product Description

by Anonymous Airbus A380 Captain (Author)

'I gave up a career that I loved, in large part because the night shifts, and subsequent fatigue, were killing me. Had this informative, well researched, and humorous book been available, I might still be flying.'
I.H., (former) A380 Captain

'Trying to study for the simulator but made the fatal mistake of uploading "Sleeping For Pilots & Cabin Crew" onto my kindle I cannot put it down and am laughing out loud at some anecdotes ...'
'...Every shift worker needs this book '
' ... as entertaining as Bill Bryson's books, I reckon ' - C.J., Boeing 777 Captain

It is always the original ideas that win with books, and this is one that most people have been waiting for someone to write.
It's very well-researched and well-written; deserves to be read.
- Navjot Singh, Author & Photo-Journalist
(see his Amazon Author Page)

THE BOOK THAT LIFTS THE SHEETS ON HOW TO SLEEP WHENEVER YOU WANT ... AND MORE

This may turn out to be the most important book you've ever read

Being able to sleep when you want, for as long as you want, is the key to a successful airline career. No other shift-workers suffer the same type of rosters as flight crew: early start one day, fly to a new time zone, try to sleep in a noisy hotel (complete with bedbugs), then come back late the next day, flying all through the night.

The following day it's off again with an afternoon start and another back-of-clock flight. It never ends.

Written by a 30 year veteran, (who has only ever slept-in once), our Anonymous A380 Captain has all the tips and tricks to guarantee you master sleeping when you want, better, and for as long as you want.

An Aussie*, he pulls no punches and tells it like it is ...

*(Boeing Pilots would call him "Another Pedantic AUST-ronaut")

Author Biography

Our Anonymous Airbus A380 Captain* has been flying for thirty years, longer than most of his cabin crew have been on the planet; and many of his First Officers.

He lives in the Middle East, where he has been flying Airbuses with the same carrier for nearly ten years. Previously, he was in Bahrain, flying a VIP Airbus for a Saudi Sheikh, before that flying in Vietnam, England, Malta and Australia.

As well as all the Airbus A320, A330, A340 and A380, he has flown the Boeing 727, Saab340 and Metroliner; as well the usual squadron of general aviation aircraft.

This is his third book. As well as writing, his other great love is photography.

*(Until the end of this employment contract, he must remain anonymous.)
