Author Biography

Eric M. Cachia, MSTCM, L.Ac. has been a licensed acupuncturist for over 15 years and practicing in the med-legal arena of personal injury and workers' compensation. He has served as an expert witness and consulted on criminal cases for the Orange County District Attorney office as well as private law firms. This book is complete with many insights on how to practice in the area of workers' compensation and become an expert witness consultant in the field of acupuncture and oriental medicine. Eric holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, San Francisco with a license to practice in California and has held a Doctor of Acupuncture license in Rhode Island and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine license in Florida. He has certifications in Orthopedics, Acupuncture Injection Therapy and as a Medical Laser Safety Officer. He also attended 2 years post graduate legal education at Western State University College of Law, Fullerton.
