This is a tale about an 8 year old boy named Trent who developed a passion for skateboarding after finding a skateboard in the trunk of his fathers car. He practiced skateboarding everyday. One day he saw a sign at the skatepark that said sign up for the annual skateboarding competition. His father signed him up and Trent continued to practice everyday leading up to the day of the competition. When it was time to compete, Trent was very nervous. When it was his turn to go, Trent took off without hesitation and began trying everything he practiced. He landed all of his tricks and did very well. When it was all said and done, Trent won the competition! He was very proud of himself. In that moment Trent developed a true passion for skateboarding. He decided that he wants follow his dream and get sponsored by the local skate shop in his city. Stay tuned for Volume 2 where Trent has an idea to get sponsored and comes up with plan to make it happen!
