Sharon Fowler Hawkins is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was married for forty years to the late Rev. Theron Hawkins, who served as a Senior Pastor in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion (AME Zion) Church. They have three children, Sonya (Willie), Theron Justin (Tina), and Austin, and 7 grandchildren. Rev. Sharon F. Hawkins serves as an ordained preacher and pastor in the AME Zion Church, she serves in many other leadership capacities in her local church, on the district and throughout the conference. Rev. Hawkins is an author, and a sought after Powerful Transformational Speaker. Rev. Hawkins is the founder and CEO of Women with Altitude Ministries, Altitude Inc., and The Altitude Project (TAP). She is a member of Toastmasters International, Christian Women Speakers Network. Rev. Hawkins is a lover of the Word of God! Rev. Hawkins has been in the nursing profession for 37 years. She has a master's degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and she currently works as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. When Rev.
