Stacy A. King, author of Simply 1 Mom's Thoughts About Coping When an Adult Child Lives With Mental Illness, is passionate about helping others. It is her passion for helping others that led her to a career in mental health blogging and writing. In addition to writing, she is also an avid volunteer. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and has accumulated several professional counseling graduate classes as well. She was born in the state of Washington, and gradually, throughout the years, she migrated south to the sandy beaches of Florida where she now resides in a house buzzing with energy with her husband, a daughter and a granddaughter.
