Introduction: Shona or chiShona is the most widely spoken language in Zimbabwe after English. It is also generally understood by most people living in parts of western Mozampique (Tawara & Tewe dialects), northern South Africa and eastern Botswana (Kalanga & Venda dialects), and southern Zambia (Tonga dialect). Daniel Chikwava, MBA., was born in Zimbabwe. He has lived in Africa, North America and Europe. Through his hobbies, being a world cultural traveler and learning new languages, he knows the biggest pitfalls which people learning new languages encounter and what you need to learn first. In this book, he brings this passion for languages and hopes this book keeps Shona alive.
