Product Description

by Gouten Hamada (Author), Takeshi Seshimo (Illustrator)

Seamlessly mixing secret agent-type action with slice-of-life vignettes and fish-out-of-water comedy, "Shimazaki in the Land of Peace" is the charming alternate history political thriller you never knew you were dying to read. Utterly unique, with stunning artwork, this hit series promises to keep the thrills and surprises coming even as it warms even the coldest heart.

Former covert operative Shingo Shimazaki has rescued the boy called Sata from the LEL, and yearns to make a connection with this young man in whom he sees a reflection of himself--but Sata refuses to accept the truth about the LEL, and rejects Shimazaki's every attempt at friendship. As the seemingly placid days pass by, Shimazaki's struggle to win Sata over takes him deep into the recesses of his own dark past...!
