Product Description
by Jean Varda (Author)
"For over forty years, Jean Varda has been dedicated to writing visionary poetry. The poems in this collection are incarnations of love, sorrow, and mercy. They are full of mystical longing that finds fulfillment in the natural world of butterfly wings, shadow clouds, lime green light, and sea turtle eyes. Yet the human world of work, family, and friends is ever present, deeply alive with sensuality. Whether wondering how to to pray for a beloved daughter or opening a window so that an old woman's spirit may fly out, these poems show a life lived with an open heart." --Donna Levreault, Artist, Creative Writing Teacher
