Author Biography
Linda Duff Niemeir graduated from Bastrop High School, Bastrop, Louisiana, in 1965. She attended Louisiana Business School in Monroe, Louisiana, receiving a diploma in business machines, shorthand, typing, business math, accounting and IBM keypunch. She travelled the world with her military husband, living and working in several European countries. She is now retired and lives in Camden, AR, with her husband Gilbert, a son and granddaughter. Co-author, her mother Lillian Laird Duff, graduated from Mangham High School, Mangham, Louisiana, in 1944. After attending Western Union School in Springhfield, Missouri, and working two years, she married E. B. Duff of Columbia, Louisiana and became a housewife and mother of two daughters. She was widowed in 2004 and was living next door to daughter Linda in 2007 at which time they recorded the stories found in this book. Lillian died in 2014.
