Product Description

by Villia Walker (Author)

This book is aimed at making sewing of garments, simple and enjoyable. It was born out of my conviction that garment construction can be a source of income to stay home moms or a source of savings for those who are employed away from the home or use as a hobby. As I evaluate the need for clothing, I realize it is a skill that can be used effectively by both genders at any stage of life. We all need clothes to cover our nakedness. I trust that this simple presentation will encourage you to enjoy sewing.

Author Biography

Villia Walker is a graduate of Church's Teachers College, Mandeville, Jamaica, West Indies. She specialized in Home Economics which provided more advanced knowledge in sewing of garments. Upon graduating, she went on to teach in the Government public school system for eleven years at the high school level. With the conviction that all ladies needed to learn to sew professionally, she went on to establish Vill's Sewing Studio.
