Product Description

by Orobola Fasehun (Author), Olufunmilayo Fasehun (Author)

Biography of Senator Ayo Fasanmi of Nigeria by his daughter and son-in-law

Born of humble parentage in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1925, Senator Ayo Fasanmi grew up to be a man of discipline, principle and great character.

His political activism spanned over seven decades including colonial and post-colonial Nigeria. It was a period that Nigeria experienced civilian and praetorian guard rule (military) before the current plebiscitary democracy. Senator Fasanmi saw it all, as he was a witness to several travails of Nigeria.

This book chronicles his political legacy; a legacy that is deeply appreciated and admired all over Nigeria.
