In the world of Garmth, there is a recent city, Sem'se, which lays between the Civilized and Uncivilized lands.

Until the city's creation, all the herbs, spices, ores, and animals only found in the Uncivilized lands were available to the few powerful or wealthy enough to obtain such rarities - in the smallest of quantities.

Armies and navies have been lost in attempts to conquer these lands for their riches; however, only the Lady Windspear, with her alliances, was successful in making a trade route to the lands of plenty. Her trade city is on the border of the Guardian's Forest.

Many have wondered, How did she do it? What agreement does she have with the Guardian? Who are her allies? Such answers are for another story.

This story follows the years after Sem'se's building and success. Here, we follow four other individuals as they enter into the city proper. One from the past, another from a city mirroring Sem'se itself, one in exile, and the last hoping to avoid a maddening end.

So come now, and follow the second chances of Priestess Ila, War Priest Stonewall, Punisher Dolon, and Lady Zelest as they enter into the trade city Sem'se and find more than what they were looking for.
