This book is divided into two sections. Part one focuses on self-coaching tools and practices that will help the reader recognize what their desires are in order to live their best life. Part two focuses on the barriers faced by people leaving prison and provides examples of many useful forms and letters. My hope in this book is to give tools and information needed to better prepare for life after prison. Wouldn't it be nice if incarcerated people had access to the information that is important to success after prison? If you apply the concepts and use the information in this book, I am confident readers will gain a sense of independence and accomplishment because they are doing the work to prepare themselves to reentry society. This book is an attempt to help readers understand that our current situation or past mistakes do not define us. We are not less than or unworthy because of our past decision. We all have made mistakes. The silver lining is that every single minute is an opportunity for a new beginning.
