Product Description

by Bill Curtis (Author)

"'I know the plans I have for you' says the LORD" JER 29:11 NIV....Just when do those plans start? How will I know His plans for me? Do I just close my eyes and hold on to the rails for dear life? How did I get here?

When I got to be 65 years-old I decided to begin writing a biography for my grandchildren "What was it like growing up in the 50's & 60's?" It took about 5 years of writing and adding things as I remembered them. When I finished my writing and read it through, I was shocked and amazed at all the remarkable experiences I had, all the places I had been, how I had been blessed to work for 31 years with American Indians; to work my summers flying around in helicopters and floatplanes working for the U.S. Forest Service in Alaska; meeting absolutely fascinating and wonderful people, and most importantly experiencing God's drawing and saving me, and saving my wife, Martha and son, Seth, all at the same time. We clearly witnessed God's miracles while we lived in Utah for twelve years and we saw God so wonderfully at work in the lives of so many others. God had planted a desire in my heart when I was 8 years-old. Somehow after a whole lot of obstacles and detours in the path, he granted that desire over 30 years later.

This then is my personal story.
