Clare Beaton has gained international recognition for her distinctive collages: she hand sews her illustrations using felt, vintage fabrics, buttons and sequins -- whatever she can find that can be reused and given a new life. She is an award-winning children's writer and illustrator who lives and works in North London, UK.
