Author Biography
Brenda's father taught high school Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Spending a few hours with him in the backyard was an incredible science lesson, imbued with the awe of nature itself and its mysticism. It is through him that she gained her lifelong interest in our natural world. In addition to writing and nature, Brenda's interests include genealogy, quilting, photography and scrapbooking. Brenda grew up in Madison (Nashville), Tennessee and currently lives in northern Alabama with her husband, two cats and a dog. She enjoys long weekends and family vacations at their lake house in Kentucky.
