"I accumulated years worth of research for my historical fiction, 'The Lies of the Lion, ' so I created a non-fiction genealogical reference book entitled, 'Secret Genealogy' to work as a companion to the novel. Since the novel was about people hiding their ethnic roots, I thought a reference book providing more details, would benefit the readers." Suellen Ocean makes her home in the Sierra Nevada Foothills
