by Raven Day McShane (Author)

Scars: Series: Portrait of a Lady: Part 2

By: Raven Day McShane

As Raven lay in a hospital bed, recovering from a violent attempt on her life from the man who was supposed to love and care for her, she wondered at life and God's hand in it. Raven had left the army to make a better life for her son, to be there for him more. Little did she know the hardships that awaited her in civilian life or how much the structure of army life was keeping her together. Internal scars she thought she could deal with on her own broke open like a burst dam as her body healed from the physical scars she now carried. There was a lot of work to do if she wanted to make a better life for herself and her son, Aaron. But with faith that God had an ultimate design for her, Raven knew her future under God's will would be bright.
