(Musnad 'Abd ibni Humaid #783)This is the glowing declaration of Rasulullah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) with regard to his noble companions. It is therefore imperative for us to be well acquainted with the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu 'anhum) and to then follow in their footsteps for us to be rightly guided.In this light, Ibnu Mas'ood Institute commenced a series, titled "Stars of Guidance", on the lives of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu 'anhum), highlighting pertinent lessons that are applicable to our lives. Short audio clips are sent out via email and WhatsApp weekly.Furthermore, programmes on the lives of various Sahaabah (radhiyallahu 'anhum) are occasionally conducted at different venues.In order to increase the benefit, these lectures are being transcribed and prepared in book form. While minor changes have been made, the manner and flow of the talk has been retained. This will insha-Allah make it a lighter read. However, since it is a transcript of a lecture, the translation of the Arabic texts would often be paraphrased and not direct at times.
