Product Description

by Fergus Mason (Author), Cary Abbott (Author)

"This is gonna sound crazy," Margi said, "But I think they were chupacabras." Ray frowned. "Cha. . . chalupa. . . coprah?" She laughed. "No Dad, chupacabra. It means 'goatsucker' in Spanish." "So what the heck are they?" "Well, that's the thing. Nobody really knows." When Margi agreed to go on a business trip to South America with her Dad she just wanted to spend some time with him. Maybe it would even be exciting. Now their plane had crashed and they were stuck in the jungle, surrounded by strange monsters. To get out they'd have to rely on skills they didn't know they had. There's such a thing as too exciting.

Author Biography

Cary Abbott is a retired U.S. Marine Master Sergeant. He grew up traveling around the United States and in doing so developed a very active imagination. He dreamed of being a screenwriter but spent his non-dreaming time having adventures in the Corps with his friends, his wife and their three children. Cary has also worked as a background actor in several movie and TV shows and a security supervisor at celebrity events such as the Oscars, the Emmy's, Soul Train and MTV Award shows. He currently lives with his family in New York and is actively working on dream video recorder and on time traveling digital camera. Fergus Mason was born in southwest Scotland and went to university in Glasgow. After graduating he joined the British Army and served in Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Kosovo and Iraq. Looking for something new after 14 years he somehow ended up in Afghanistan as a civilian contractor, which was pretty much like being in the Army but with better food. Finally he decided to become a freelance writer, as he has always enjoyed writing as a hobby. Fergus lives in Germany with an annoying cat.
