Rounds and canons are imitative forms of music that are easy for singing groups to learn because there is mostly only one line of music to be learned. They are fun to perform and to hear because they form both melody and harmony with just a small amount of material. This book contains over fifty musical rounds and canons. Some have been adapted from public domain works of other composers while others are original works. All of the pieces have been given new texts based on themes of peace and justice, many of which are inspired by the writings of a variety of theologians and philosophers.
