Product Description

by David Pfendler (Illustrator), Amy Worden (Author)

Enter the world of three young friends as they play, using their imagination and the natural world. A forest clearing sets the stage, as their creation (a fort made of sticks) provides a fertile ground to experience both the joys and the conflicts that so often accompany childhood. The boys struggle, but are encouraged to think creatively and find a solution that is inclusive and all their own. Parents and educators embrace this story as a tool to further the conversation around bullying, social inclusion and conflict resolution. Ages 4-8

Amy Worden lives in Colorado and is a mom with three boys of her own. Room For Three was inspired from watching her three boys play. Social Intelligence, including conflict resolution skills, are often one of the most important and most illusive skills children must master. Stories are an important tool to teach these skills.
