In the enchanting children's book "Rogla and the Wish Dragon," Rogla, a wish dragon, longs to fly like other dragons. But his small wings prevent him from soaring through the skies. Each day, he sends precious wishes from dewdrops to make dreams come true. However, his own wish remains unfulfilled.
One day, Rogla's friends mysteriously disappear, leaving him feeling lonely.
Searching for them, he stumbles upon a surprise birthday celebration, where his friends present a magnificent cake just for him. Filled with joy, Rogla blows out the dandelion candles and makes his secret wish.
The next morning, Rogla discovers the huge shining dewdrop which held his own wish. Overwhelmed by fear, he blows on it and suddenly finds himself facing the Dragon King. The king questions Rogla's desire for wings, and Rogla explains his longing to visit his family and grant wishes in person.
The Dragon King proposes a challenge: Rogla must venture into a desolate forest and find a way to revive it. Despite his apprehension, Rogla accepts the challenge and enters the gloomy woods. Drawing on the magic his father taught him, Rogla brings light and life back to the forest. In the darkest hollow, he encounters Binx, a sad and lonely butterfly dragon.
Together, Rogla and Binx unleash their combined magic, rejuvenating the forest and bringing back the banished animals. Grateful, Binx reveals her unique power to make wings grow and promises to help Rogla. They bid farewell, and Rogla returns to his friends, unaware of the transformation awaiting him.
The following morning, Rogla wakes up to discover his reflection in the pond, revealing magnificent, shimmery wings. With newfound excitement, he takes flight for the first time, cheered on by his friends.
