Product Description

by Pat (Rhodie) Rhodes (Author)

"Rhodie's Guide to Rescue Knots is the 3rd Edition of Knots for the Rescue Service. This is a very informative, yet fun and lighthearted approach to knotcraft that is written specifically for the fire/rescue community. Included in this book is multiple knots that have been categorized into specific "families". The Bowline family as presented in this book is probably one of the more extensive treatments of the bowline; including multi-point anchoring with the Portuguese Bowline, and taking tools aloft using the Spanish Bowline. Rescue personnel from the recruit firefighter to seasoned mountain rescue and rope access technicians will find useful applications of knots in this resource.
