It's summer and vacation is on the minds of everyone in River Bend. Lynn and Dusty as sunning at the Outer Banks. Sara Margolin has taken her children to Disney World. She works in the mornings as an IT consultant bringing the back-office computer systems of the massive theme park up to date. In the afternoons she and her children enjoy the park. She meets an old college acquaintance, Quinn Templeton, and renews a friendship.
Templeton Inc. hires Sara to solve some computer issues. In the process Quinn and his son follow Sara and her children back to River Bend. Embezzlement darkens the family fun. But Quinn and Sara, much to the delight of their children, marry.
