About Deborah J. Levine... AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR: Deborah is the author of 8 books which have been featured on CSPAN - BOOKTV and taken to Vatican City as a gift for Pope Francis. EDITOR: Deborah is Editor-in-Chief of the American Diversity Report (ADR) with readers across the US and in more than 40 countries. The ADR received the Champion of Diversity Award from diversitybusiness.org. BLOGGER & JOURNALIST: Deborah is a blogger with The Huffington Post and has served as a community correspondent for The Chattanooga Times Free Press. Her writing is published in The American Journal of Community Psychology, The Journal of Public Management & Social Policy, Harvard Divinity School Bulletin, and The Bermudian Magazine. TECHNICAL WRITER: Deborah began her writing career as a research correspondent at Chemical Bank headquarters in NYC. She was a grant writer for the Chicago City Ballet and numerous healthcare agencies, conferences, and nonprofits. Deborah served as Research Coordinator of the College of Engineering and Computer Science/U. of TN at Chattanooga. ACADEMIA: In addition to an undergraduate degree in cultural anthropology (Harvard & NYU), Deborah has a Masters degree in urban planning (U. of Illinois at Chicago), a Masters degree in religion (Spertus Institute), and research fellowships (American Jewish Archives, William Andrews Clark Library/UCLA). Deborah has been adjunct faculty (Elmhurst College, Tulsa University, University of TN at Chattanooga) and a guest lecturer on college campuses (Southern Adventist U., Oberlin College, and Northern Kentucky State U.). LEADERSHIP: Deborah has received awards from the National Catholic Press Association, American Planning Association/Chicago, and the TN Economic Council on Women. A member of the Diversity Advisory Task Force of Volkswagen Chattanooga, Deborah is VP of Communications for the International Business Council (IBC) of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves on the Tennessee Advisory Council of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.
