Author Biography

Dr. Paul Helton is an assistant professor of psychology at Freed-Hardeman University. He holds a Ph.D. in psychology with a family psychology specialization. He a licensed professional counselor and holds a mental health service provider designation with the state of Tennessee. He owns and operates Paramount Counseling Services, which provides LIP services to United Health Services, individual counseling, marital therapy, sex addiction treatment and EMDR for trauma. Taraleigh Stemler holds a master's in marriage and family therapy from David Lipscomb University. She owns and operates Taraleigh Stemler Counseling, which provides counseling services to individuals and married couples. She also treats clients using EMDR.
