From the very first lesson, where only five letters and their most common sounds are taught, students begin to read real text. Each lesson builds on previous lessons. The activities and reading material in each lesson includes only words and sentences from the previous lessons. Author Biography
Lynda Delo is a high school librarian in Shreveport, LA. She has homeschooled all four of her sons and tutored privately in reading and math. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology and Education in 1983 from Ouachita Baptist University and her masters degree in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University in 2009.
