Author Biography

Joanna Rogers, mother of seven children and well-loved piano teacher, has built a career around the joy of music. For thirty years she has tuned-in to discover the learning styles and preferences of her many students, becoming acutely aware of the best methods of teaching children how to read music and play piano. Designing lessons to reach every student and make piano lessons fun; she created Read Music Method, the Graph to Staff Approach. Joanna has a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, and studied piano pedagogy at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and Illinois Central College.
