Product Description

by Janet Johnson-Thonen (Author)

Jennica was born with a love of life, a beautiful smile, and many challenges. This book tells the story of her life from birth to the present time. Jennica changed my life and I hope that those who read her story will be touched and changed also.

Author Biography

Janet Johnson-Thonen was an intervention teacher for twenty-five years. She is also the mother of four children, one of whom is challenged as a result of birth trauma. After retiring from teaching Janet wrote two books. The first was a biography of her father, Thomas A. Johnson, titled "Stories From My Father. The book spans nearly nine decades and includes stories of WWII. Giving her daughter a voice, Janet next wrote the biography of her daughter, "Raising Jennica". Her daughter wanted others to know how growing up with disabilities effected her life. This book attempts to do that along with how these challenges effected her family. Retirement has offered Janet time to write, to travel, and to enjoy her life with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
