The three become fast friends as they endure the rigors of training to become Marine Officers and jet pilots. Along the way, there are many hijinks, some steamy sex, many new friends are made, and love accidentally blooms between two of the main characters. The female readers will love this love story, and they are forgiven for skimming over the technical details of wing loading and thrust-to-weight ratios.
