Author Biography

Gama Valle is a Puerto Rican writer, director, playwright and casting director. He holds an M.F.A in Directing from The New School University. He was also the recipient of the Van Lier Directing Fellowship ' 10/' 11 at Repertorio Españ ol. Gama received the First Prize in playwriting from Puerto Rico's Institute of Culture (2008) for his play " Queishd&Dilit" . Gama published his first children's book, Pitu le baila al mar in 2021. Born in Milan, Lorenzo Sangio is an award-winning Italian illustrator. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia and gained an MA in illustration for publishing from Ars In Fabula, in Macerata. He's currently a full-time picture book illustrator, winning several awards and his works have been exhibited in Italy and France.
