Product Description

by Jess Edwards (Author)

You've changed me. You've fundamentally altered the fabric of my existence.

Two women collide and soon become so entangled it's hard to tell where one starts and the other begins. It's messy, magnetic, and disturbingly familiar.

Private View offers an intimate look into a cataclysmic love that burns hot and fast - and leaves a mark.

This edition was published to coincide with the original production at Soho Theatre in December 2025.

Author Biography

Jess Edwards is an award-winning director, writer and creative. She has over a decade's experience in theatre and has a number of writing projects in development for TV and film.

Jess is a Queer artist - and this runs through all her work. Her shows are a real party - iconoclastic, pop-tastic and fun. Alongside this, it's very important to her to make work that is political and intersectional, with an ultimate message of hope.

Care and compassion are at the centre of her process and she works with the nervous system in her directing work. A qualified yoga instructor, physicality and embodied emotion is a key aspect of her practice. She also teaches and lectures on creativity, writing at theatre - most recently at Central School of Speech and Drama and Oxford University.
