Product Description

by Charles P. Arnold Jr. (Author)

Pray, Believing may best be summed up in the words of Jesus Christ as recorded by St. Mark 11.24 "Therefore I tell you, whatsoever ye ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours". These words also found in the Gospels of St. Matthew and St. John are also found in the catholic letters of St. John and St. James, and are evidence of its importance to God for its pleasing attributes and to the Christian who seeks that faith which moves mountains. When embraced the Christian prayer is empowered with the awesome, humbling gift of service to God, to one's neighbors, and to one's self. This major theme is developed throughout this small book together with a definition of God's will; when waiting for God is necessary; and the root meaning of such words as "will" and "to wait" in both the Hebrew and Greek Testaments.
