Samuel Tan is a technical writer from Singapore. Passionate about creative and academic writing, Samuel Tan has been awarded the Bok Center Teaching Certificate: Higher Education Pedagogy by the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard University, and his debut book release, Practical Writing, is a non-fiction text that aims to develop the reader's written English through the use of the "Learn, Practice, Reflect" pedagogy. Driven by a desire to help both seasoned writers, and those new to developing the skill, Practical Writing uses innovative learning methods, engaging activities, and theoretical knowledge to help others take their writing skills and abilities to the next level, even those who lead busy lifestyles.
