Product Description

by Marjorie Nelson Sanford (Author), Donna Blair Patterson (Editor)

This is a book of poetry and stories written during the latter part of the twentieth century. Each one addresses the turmoil, wonder, or gaiety of that time. On March 7, 1995, at the age of 96, the author passed away. In preparation for her funeral, Patterson read through her notebook. It was then that Patterson began to really know her. Reading the words, Patterson could hear her soft voice again, quietly comforting, wisely reassuring. Since that time, Patterson has often pulled that notebook off the shelf, reaching for some wisdom or comfort to help get through a day. Now, her words are here for readers.
