Product Description

by Gerard C. Smith (Author)

The poems in the three volumes of Poetry by GC are partly truth and partly fiction, and perhaps some autobiography does slip in here and there -- now and then. The poems are about men and women, boys and girls, places and things. There's poetry on ideas as well. There is some downer poetry and there is also poetry of hopes and aspirations and dreams. Poetry about life and living and beating the odds and maybe, hopefully, poetry about some things that are real and things worthwhile. There's stuff in the book to warm the coldest of hearts. There's stuff in the book that could and might offend sensibilities. There's stuff that's tragic. There's stuff that's comedic. There's stuff that's magic, If some of my poems clash with your reality or with your worldview, so be it, I do not apologize.
