Author Biography
BK Mills was born in Manhattan NY in 1979 as Milford S. Gangadeen. He was raised in Brooklyn where he attended Parochial School for most of his younger years and Canarsie High School as a teenager. He always had a passion for writing while in school and knew one day he would publish a short book of poems. He spent a lot of time in the areas of Flatbush and Canarsie Brooklyn. Through all the heartache and pain he experienced in his lifetime, BK found himself penning his emotions on paper. After being told by many that he had enough stories to write a book, he compiled his writings and decided to put the project forth. It wasn't until recently BK completed his writings after putting the pen down for quite some time. BK is the proud father of two beautiful daughters and handsome twin boys. He currently resides in The Space Coast area of Florida where he spends most of his days in the sun, penning Poetic Emotions. Da Vinci said "a painting is poetry that you can not hear. And poetry is a painting that you can not see."
