University of Chicago, US Army, educator, traveler to Europe, Japan, Canada, and Merxico, Wife Mexican. He is author of The Moon Straight Overhead, a book about his personal discovery of the enchantment of the Land of the Virgin. Lived in Iowa, Illinois, and later, Mexico.
