I have played the guitar for more years than I can remember. I can play quite a wide variety of chords and, with most guitar music; I can sit down and play the chords shown on the music sheet and hum or sing along to the words while I strum. The downside of this is that I need to have the music in front of me if I want to play my guitar When I decided to learn the Piano, I decided I did not want to be tied down to sheet music, I wanted to play by ear I also did not want to be spending countless hours practicing my scales and practicing five finger exercises. I'll give you a chart showing the sixty most common Piano chords. With my technique, you'll probably only need six of them If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't. It's easy and intuitive. More importantly, it's tremendous fun.
