Between them, Lisa Bullard and Laura Purdie Salas have more than 160 published children's books, 44 years working in the book industry, and 26 years teaching and mentoring. Their children's books have received many honors, including: NCTE Notables, IRA Teachers' Choices, Riverby Award, Minnesota Book Award, Bank Street Best Books, Children's Choice Award, National Parenting Publications Children's Resources Silver Award, and Storytelling World Award honor.
