Author Biography

Clarissa Vazquez was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. After serving in the United States Air Force, she returned to Colorado in 2001 and founded the Colorado Coalition of Paranormal Investigators in 2004. There, she found a genuine passion for ghosts and her subsequent calling as a minister. Her first book "Ghosts of the Heart: A Paranormal Investigator's Journey" was published in the spring of 2011. According to the author, it is "very loosely based on actual experiences while investigating". "Ghost Hunting in Colorado" followed that same year. In 2014, Clarissa released her first children's book, "No Monsters Here!" designed to empower children to take control of their environment and eliminate the fear of things that go "bump" in the night. Her second fiction piece, "Demons of the Coven" co-authored with Lexi Doyle, was released in August of 2014, followed by "Phantom Trains and Haunted Rails of the U.S.", her second non-fiction piece in November of 2014. Her favorite quote is from Albert Einstein "The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious." You can find the latest about Clarissa by visiting her website http: //clarissavazquez.com
