Product Description

by Diane Odegard Gockel (Author)

Pat and the Gabby Goats is a delightful tale about three rescued goats that learn a valuable lesson on the importance of leadership.

Rescued as a baby goat, Pat now enjoys seniority status on Second Chance Ranch. But while the other goats pay attention to his directions and enjoy following him around, the youngest new arrivals, Huck and Logan, think he's too old to be fun-and decide they know what's best for themselves. When the young twins get lost in a storm, however, they wish they'd spent less time gabbing and more time listening

Like the other books in the Rescue series, this story is based on a real-life animal, whose photograph is included. Written from the old goat's perspective, it teaches kids to have empathy for animals...and that listening to trusted elders can save you from tricky situations.

Fun, insightful, and beautifully illustrated, you won't want to miss yet another great story from pet rescuer Diane Odegard Gockel.
