PASS was written to provide you with a specific road map to follow so that you can pass your real estate exam on the first try. As an instructor who has taught many students, one problem is that students don't know how to process the significant amount of information contained on the exam. PASS covers all major topics tested on either the PearsonVue or PSI administered exams. These include property ownership, title transfer, finance, land use regulations, contracts, agency, valuation and more. Each Chapter is specifically written for you to obtain a true understanding of the topic, starting with a comprehensive outline of the topic. Because you have already gone through pre-license, you should use this outline to ensure that you fully understand the topic before moving onto the exercises. The next section contains the essential real estate vocabulary. As vocabulary is your lifeline, you must have a good handle on it prior to moving on. This will get you through 30-40% of the exam, by allowing you to either positively answer a question or definitively eliminate answers. Each section thereafter is intended to test you on what you've learned. The recall multiple choice and fill-ins only test your vocabulary knowledge. The matching tests continue to test your vocabulary knowledge. The analysis fill-ins and multiple choice tests whether you can apply your vocabulary to the concepts.
