The illustrations are beyond something of wizardry, pulling us into another world. Although the story centers around Owl's plight to regain his flight, the true nature of how his wings have become tethered to his back, is something of which we can all identify with.

The story's purpose is to resonate with all of us who have struggled with depression or witnessed it in the people we love. The book focuses on the importance of lifting each other up as paramount. My only wish is that parents and children can enjoy this story together, while gaining an understanding of mental health and the need for all of us to support each other.
